Small things.

Some days are better than others. Today I'm having a hard time keeping the faith. (Code: sometimes the problems I try to help solve in the world seem un-dent-able. Do you ever feel this way?)

Here's one problem that existed in the world that I did help solve: adopting Ollie. It's been almost a year since he came home with us and I feel happy every day knowing that he's not in a shelter anymore, but at home, with us, getting plenty of snuggles.

The thing about dents is, sometimes it's hard to see all the little dents all by themselves. Your little dent might not mean much, but it happens to line up with a bunch of other little dents and soon, bigger dent! Keep making dents where you can and trust that somebody, somewhere, someday will notice. And for them, all those little dents will be a giant indentation - enough to fit a significant change.

I agree with Meg. Sometimes it's hard to keep going, when you want to make such a difference and don't feel like you're doing much at all. But you have to know that your readers find you SO INSPIRING (I still don't know how you do as much as you do!), and that's just the start of it. Chin up, this is just a low which reminds you how awesome the highs can be!
